Conference held on 24 May 2024 at Val-Richer (Calvados)

To mark the 150th anniversary of the death of François Guizot, a conference entitled «Schools, the foundation of the nation» was held at his former estate in Val Richer (Calvados). This landmark event, organised by the François Guizot Association and the Val Richer civil society, welcomed Mr Édouard Philippe, Mayor of Le Havre and former Prime Minister, as guest of honour and speaker.
